First thought does not come from subconscious gossip. It comes from before you think anything. In other words, there’s always the possibility of freshness. Your mind is not contaminated by neuroses all the time, so there are always possibilities that your whole existence could be good—which it is in any case. Goodness is always there—just catch it on the spot.
